Creating Artificial Intelligence with Model Predictive Control

For a while there has been a lot of hype surrounding reinforcement learning in the machine learning community.

The goal of reinforcement learning is to create intelligent agents that can act optimally for specific tasks.

One downside to reinforcement learning is that it takes many training iterations and simulations to converge.

Interestingly enough there are less well known approaches to creating intelligent agents that do not take as much training. One of these methods is Model Predictive Control.
