2013 was the year everything I knew took a different path. I sold our family home, I got married, I left my family business, moved from New Hampshire to Idaho, to chase something more important than comfort: family unity.

We arrived amid a government shutdown, and the job opportunities I thought I had vanished into thin air. Staring into the face of uncertainty, I was hit with a stark realization: success isn't a stroke of luck or a gift; it's something you fight for. With no network, no job, and no plan B, I made a choice to create my own opportunity—I started Deliberate Directions.

The beginnings were raw, real and equally amazing. Imagine walking into a room where no one knows your name. Every new client felt like a win not just for my company, but for my belief in the idea that you forge your path, one hard-earned step at a time.

Now, a decade in, Deliberate Directions stands as a testament to the growth that comes from discomfort. We've built relationships that have lasted years and a team that's as passionate about growth as I was when I first realized I'd have to create my own way forward.

This journey has been a series of choices made at the intersection of uncertainty and opportunity.
