Create Videos // Create Yourself
Recent time favours sitting at home, thinking and jumping on the zoom calls to meet new people, attend seminars and be sure the world keeps spinning. Once all project has been finished, new ones put on hold and everyone tries to figure out what's next opportunity in lockdown economy I thought it would be great to think what's next for Create Greg.
Before I will figure out what's next I thought I will take two steps back and think who Create Greg is.
The beauty of the whole situation is how the Scottish Creative Industry got together to support each other during these challenging times. From sharing valuable information to a zoom mentoring session with the leaders in their fields to ask, listen and jot down questions to ponder.
Apart from being clear what's your area of expertise and what kind of problem you can solve and for whom? Who's your ideal client? What's your dream project? My favourite ones were

Can you find maximum four things you want to be famous for and filter all your actions and messages through it?
In the world where you can develop all your passions and show them off to the world can you still name four core areas you are or want to be famous for?
I lacked this attitude since I started CreateGreg Ltd going around and trying to do all creative challenges from photography to video shooting on all possible subjects.
Recent time help me to clarify what four areas speak to me the best.
- Filmmaking - the process of storytelling with a camera has been with me since I was a kid and has been the northern star for a long time;
- Video Editing - the final process of shaping the story and sometimes even changing it completely;
- Personal Development - since I remember I've been always keen to grow on all level as a human being and professional;
- Inspiration - the part of initiating the action and driving force to continuing it.
The longer I thought about it the more I got excited that blending it all together can lead me to find my own voice and create content around it.
When I came up with the name Create Greg, my first thought was - it doesn't sound professional. I've checked CreateGreg.com, all social media handles and everything was available, I liked it. I gave it two days to sink in and thought I can give it a go.
What sounded like not the best ideal back then, it helped me to understand I've been always after
