Create Time...
Welcome.
I am writing this on February 29, 2024. Leap year time once again.
So does time actually "pause" today?
Nope. Of course not heh.
Question: Whatcha doing with this "bonus day" today?
[ NOTE: If you are reading this AFTER February 29, 2024, it's OK. You can STILL use this actionable tip to become even more productive by doing less! ]
The Problem:?I'm Stuck
This week, imagine you and are I back at the super big box office supply store.
You decide which one. If you have not been to one in a while, wow... things have changed a lot. Do you notice these things?
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "I'm flummoxed for what to do today."
I used the word flummoxed above because well, it's not one I use every day (does anyone??).
Think back to 2020 -- the last "leap year".
Could you have imagined then what this leap year would be like?
We all had plans. A trajectory.
And.
Remember, this was BEFORE the pandemic lock-downs started.
Heck, this time in 2020 we were watching the news not even realizing what was coming...
The Actionable Tip: Create Time
You've got to recharge often.
You get that. It's something that we need to make time to do.
But can we really "create time?"
Nope.
So.
In the comments below, please share?ONE?actionable tip about how you "create time" in order to do less and become more productive.
Time's flying by... I look forward to learning more about how you do this today!
Thank you.

1 年For me, taking the time to prioritize my day tends to "add" time. My partner and I take time in the morning to identify three things that we want to get done that day, and this helps us spend less time debating what is next and more time doing (and delivering ??).

1 年My actionable tip is to slow down to create time. I find that when I don't take the time to slow down and simply appreciate life (for me, this means meditating, breathing work, or vacations), time flies by.
I use this very simple breathing app twice a day. It seems to slow time down for me and makes me more relaxed. ??
