Create safe zones for your residents via wearables

The elderly care group Curando chose to equip staff and all residents with an AQURA wristband with wireless alarm button. It allows residents to make a personal call at any time. Their call, including their location, is transmitted in real-time to the care staff. So it’s also a solution for wandering detection and prevention.

Reassure your residents

Residents who lived alone, often already know this solution. They wore it at home, in case something were to happen. The AQURA wristband gives residents that same safe feeling and often they ask to wear it again. They can choose to wear the tag on their wrist or on their neck via a chain. This wireless system ensures that residents no longer depend on call systems in specific places e.g. on the wall or in the bathroom. They always carry the tag with them and can therefore call for help at any time. This also offers great reassurance for family and informal care people.?

Using created living circles, residents enjoy controlled freedom. Each resident wears a tag with unique rights linked to his or her profile. These specific settings allow the resident the freedom to walk around independently in certain personal safe zones within the building. On the other hand, a resident may not be allowed to enter or leave an area. If he then does approach a door, it is automatically closed or staff receive an alarm notification with the resident's name and exact, real-time location. In this way, staff can immediately act appropriately.

Empower your care staff

The AQURA system isn't just about resident safety, it's also a game-changer for care staff. The wireless push buttons have the same design for care staff and residents, ensuring a non-stigmatising character. If necessary, staff can request help via this button.

Integrating the wandering detection system into the Televic call system supports care staff and it gives them a sense of reassurance. The system allows residents to move freely through the room and that without the care staff having to worry that they will run away. Because in such a situation, the door will automatically lock and the care staff will be notified of this. Thereafter, the care staff can escort the resident back to their familiar surroundings. The system ensures that a sense of security is maintained and that care staff can provide care more efficiently, without having to constantly supervise the users.

Choose your solutions depending on your organization's needs

The AQURA wristband technology offers a multitude of applications, from indoor localization and automatic door control to wandering detection and prevention. Its versatility allows your organization to tailor the technology to your specific needs, providing a customizable solution that adapts to evolving challenges.
