Create an Operating Framework to Scale Your Business ??

Can your business exist without you? If your answer is no, it’s time to create an operating framework for your business!

An operating framework is a structure or set of guidelines that outlines how a business or organization operates. Basically, it’s a blueprint for how your business functions, providing a common understanding of how tasks are performed, who is responsible for each task, and what the expected outcomes are. It helps to outline the 5Ps (Purpose, People, Process, Platform, and Performance) that are used to manage your finances, operations, human resources, marketing, and customer service.

I know the idea of creating an operating framework for your business sounds daunting or unnecessary because your business is small. But it doesn't need to be elaborate. You should, however, have a general idea of your systems by documenting every single thing that you and/or your staff does, a basic idea of the systems you all use and how to access them. This will ensure that if something happens you can at least still keep your business running! ????

Remember, a strong operational framework is essential to ensuring your business can exist without you in it. Plus, it’s a foundational step in scaling your business!
