AI Social Media Automation ??
Imagine coming home after a long day and not having to worry about your social media posts. Wouldn't it be amazing if AI could write in your voice and post for you every day? This system would build your brand and keep your followers engaged. Today, I'm going to show you exactly how to set this up.
Setting Up Make.com ??
The tool is called Make.com. It's a robotic processing automation tool that connects different software in a seamless flow. The best part? It's no-code, so you can create this AI automation without writing any code.
After you get your Make.com account, create a new scenario. First, set up the trigger - this tells Make what starts the automation. It's easy to use; you just instruct it to use one tool after another visually.
Using Google Sheets as a Trigger ??
Our first trigger is a Google Sheet. You'll input URLs of recent articles about your industry. The AI will use these to write your social media posts.
Set up Google Sheets in Make by choosing "watch new row." Whenever a new row (article) is added, it starts the automation. Schedule it to run daily at a set time, like 8:00 a.m.
Summarizing Articles with Perplexity ??
Next, we need AI to read the articles. We'll use Perplexity, which can access the web in real-time - crucial for getting the latest info.
Get a free Perplexity account and API key. Connect this to Make. Use the "create a chat completion" module to summarize articles. Test it to make sure it works right.
Creating Social Media Posts with AI ??
Now that you have article summaries, let's create posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter). Use a router in Make to do multiple actions at once. We'll use Claude for writing because it currently gives better output than OpenAI.

For Facebook, make a message in Claude with a pre-written prompt. For Instagram, use OpenAI to create visually appealing posts with emojis and hashtags. Do the same for X and LinkedIn.
Generating Images for Instagram ??
For Instagram, generate images using OpenAI's DALL-E 3. Add another module in Make to create images based on article summaries. Test the images to make sure they look good.
Connecting to Social Media Platforms ??
Once posts and images are ready, connect to your social accounts. For Facebook, use the "create a post" module and link to your page. For Instagram, use "create a photo post" and connect to your business account.
Do the same for X and LinkedIn, making sure to authorize all connections and pick the right pages or profiles.
Testing and Finalizing the Automation ??
Before going live, test everything. Run the automation and check the outputs for all platforms. If you're not happy with the results, change your prompts and test again.
When you're satisfied, save your work and turn on the automation. Make sure your Google Sheet has enough article links to keep it running daily.
Conclusion and Next Steps ??
Congratulations! You've set up a fully automated social media AI system that posts for you every day. Make.com will help build your brand and engage with your followers effortlessly.
