Create Big Goals
Don't Bore Yourself By Thinking Small
Having goals are important. But institutionalize thinking has infected the world with the idea of SMART goals. Don't get me wrong SMART targets are the steps you take to reach audacious goals.
Things to consider:
- Your goal needs to inspire you. Not appease someone else.
- Your goal(s) should be written down. Too many people keep their goals in their head and that's where they stay. The act of writing out your goals moves the goal from the non-physical universe into this reality.
- For each goal write one action that will set the process to achieving that goal in action. You can apply SMART to your action.
- Take a course, go to a seminar, hire a coach to learn more about goals and setting them.
- You can't set a goal in the absence of a dream.

Setting and striving for goals is a valuable skill to develop. It’s a skill that will be useful in more areas of life than just entrepreneurship.
