Version 11 of VR-Design Studio enables users to creat roads fast, via a new Road Alignment Calculation function. This function automatically creates roads by generating horizontal or vertical curves that best fit all the available turning points. These points can be imported via a CSV file containing GPS trajectory information, or can be manually imported as a series of points. This new function of FORUM 8's premier interactive 3D VR simulation and modeling software, simplifies the generation of accurate roads and highway environments for both driving simulation and transport planning applications.
