A big thank you to AutoNation Subaru Carlsbad for their generous donation to CRC through Subaru's "Share the Love" event! Proceeds from each car sold were donated to CRC. We appreciate their incredible support again this year to help neighbors in need in North County! Pictured is a photo of the team with CRC staff and a drawing created by a child at our shelter to express our gratitude.
ProduceGood Partners to Provide Rescued Produce
Our Food and Nutrition partners enable us to provide nutritious food to an average of 633 clients each month. Recently, our partner ProduceGood distributed 40 10-pound boxes of mixed produce at CRC. Thank you to ProduceGood and their partner PlusBox for collaborating with us to feed our neighbors in need!

Empowering Advocates
This month, our 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate Training started at One Safe Place in San Marcos. It's been inspiring to see such a dynamic and compassionate group come together, all dedicated to supporting and empowering survivors of domestic violence. Through this training, they're gaining crucial skills and knowledge to continue being powerful advocates for change.?
Our Domestic Violence prevention educators welcome the opportunity to provide interactive workshops for teens this fall, with topics including Safe Dating, Healthy Boundaries and Red Flags. Please contact us to learn more.

Urgent Call to Action: Protect Survivor Support Services
Survivors of crime face significant risks from proposed funding cuts to crucial services such as housing support and legal assistance. Join CRC and the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence in urging Governor Newsom to approve the $103 million designated in the state budget to ensure these vital programs continue. Send an email to Governor Newsom.
Or call Governor Newsom: Dial (916) 445-2841 to voice your support: "I urge Governor Newsom to maintain the $103 million funding for victim services to ensure survivors receive necessary support due to federal cuts."

CRC (Programs, Food Pantry, Admin & Resale Stores) will be closed at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, July 2 for a staff meeting, and on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Regular hours resume on Friday, July 5.
