THE CRAZY REASON "WHY" WE BECOME ENTREPRENEURS!

Maybe you have herd the traditional dire warnings of the high failure rate of new businesses. You may have been told that 90% of businesses fail to reach their third birthday. This is the kind of inaccurate data often spouted out by well meaning family members and co-workers when you announce your decision to start your own business. You have to be on alert for these folks who want to rescue you. You have to question their real knowledge, their qualifications as advisers and sometimes their motives. After all mediocrity loves company.

In order to be an effective entrepreneur you have to be an organizer, banker, administrator, manager, promoter. You may even have to be a mother and father and deal with personal challenge. You have to become more than you are right now.

So why do we do it?

The crazy reason WHY we become entrepreneurs is...an entrepreneur is not happy by what they get, what makes them really excited to be in business is who they become as a person!!!. They say "business development is really personal development with an income stream attached".

I personally don't know anything more powerful than starting your own business to challenge you, make you become more than you are right now, and the pride that comes from taking something and dealing with the challenges and the problems and the upsets and the frustrations and the turning them around, that has power!

The true nature of an entrepreneur is a person who is always looking for opportunities, ideas, concepts of value, and to turn them into a physical reality that benefits others and therefore yourself. This is what juices me, and this is why many of us become entrepreneurs.
