A crazy podiatrist

I’m going to be honest, I’m very confused. A podiatry client has cut off our service without any warning.
I understand that some people just don’t ‘get’ it and that’s fine. What I don’t understand is why people think it’s OK to stop something without any notice.
But that’s not what’s really confusing me. We pack their clinic to the rafters – so much so, it was hard to even find a 15-minute gap.
I’ve just looked at their calendar and they have free appointments today. Not one or two, but 50% of the clinic slots are empty. And it gets worse as the week goes on.
For the sake of a monthly bill of around £300, they are prepared to have an empty clinic? I cannot see the point of that and that’s why I’m confused.
For the cost of 5 appointments a month, they are losing half a dozen appointments EVERY day.
Let’s do the maths:
Our bill £300
They charge £50 an appointment and have approximately 10 appointments a day over 5 days a week. 50 appointment slots a week.
5 free spaces a day, 25 a week, 100 a month. 100 x £50 = £5000. That’s £5000 every month they’re leaving on the table because they don’t want to pay £300 a month.
Senseless or what?
You wouldn't do that would you?
