The Crazy Job-Getting Strategy That Got Me Two Offers This Month

So back to the main gist for today, I have come to share with you the crazy jobgetting strategy that got me two job offers recently.

Towards the end of last year, just a few days before 2025, I decided to update my LinkedIn profile to match my new career level and field. I also made sure to use the right words to help my profile show up for the jobs I wanted. After that, I fixed up my CV for the new jobs I was aiming for and put it on the LinkedIn job board.

I didn't think it would work so fast. When I was adding words to my profile, I included leadership and management because I have a certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington. I also added some other skills I had recently learned.

After about a week, a senior recruiter manager from the US got in touch with me about a senior management job. She got interested in the management skills I had just added. You can see the proof below.

This recruiter is a real recruitment consultant on LinkedIn, linked to a big US company. So, this message is not fake or random.

The second offer I got is about Marketplace Leadership, which is my main focus this year. It's not a job, but a speaking opportunity that will help more people know about my brand. This offer comes from the United Kingdom.

What's interesting is that my profile's banner and headline caught this person's eye. Just think about it - if I hadn't updated my profile, I might have missed out.

I have not even started applying for jobs via the job board, just by revamping and updating my LinkedIn profile, I got two offers this year.

Additionally, I got an offer from a connection on LinkedIn about an open role which I later shared with my clients, and here is the proof.
