The craving for things that will make us addicted to being in our comfort zone will come at the cost of our cognitive thinking. Certainly, it will raise questions about the ability of humans which with time will diminish or "we can say humans are not designed to use their minds forever but to evolve to the next level where thinking the things of the past."
Let's try to anticipate the future of Humanity by considering the past evolutions in the last 30 years. The one common thing we will find is every new technology is built on the philosophy:
To improve human life humans need to sacrifice.
At least for one, I have seen in the past how technology makes our lives easy at the cost of humans.
Should we consider ourselves lucky or unfortunate that we don’t need to struggle like our previous generation did?
Well, its answer is our craving for comfort also known as Artificial Intelligence which will again make some of our lives easier at the cost of some others, but the question is who will be impacted or nourished?
As our future becomes present, the present becomes past and a new future is set to come, employee-employer relationships will be things of the past. The importance would be given to how well AI-human impersonation happens to fill the current empathy gap in the technology. Today we talk about human-centric design but tomorrow will be about AI-centric solutions since AI will be end-user/ end customer.
When it comes to product design, B2B personas would be for example: Artificial intelligence (persona) needs to perform day-to-day activities of financial planning or facility maintenance of warehouse/industrial plant/power plant or preparing reports on the health of plants/ crops/ patients, etc. These are a few examples where AI will take over quietly and easily.
Currently, we are still in the early stages of AI advancements but think of the time when AI is fully trained to a level where it can take over all the tasks that humans used to perform to make money to survive. Well, In this scenario how humanity will survive is the question to ask and anticipate what is coming for us in the future.
What is ahead in our?future?
Possibility 1: No more family
When AI is at its top, many working class will struggle to find human jobs. With the growing concern about feeding families, a major portion of the tax-paying generation will stop considering having kids as it would be stressful to feed them. The concept of two incomes with no kids/ being single will be on the rise which will have a long-term impact on the existence of humanity and the economies of the nations.
We might see the government open immigration pathways to save the economies by inviting highly skilled manpower to contribute to their nations.
Possibility 2: New types of job
As technology companies strive to offer the best AI experience to their customers, there will be a need for people who will train AI to be more like humans. Professions like Chatbot Trainer will rise where humans will input emotional attributes to AI.
Here, behavioral researchers and scientists will play a significant role in tunning AI to behave like humans.
Possibility 3: Good as well as bad
According to the World Economic Forum, Millennials are now the largest adult cohort worldwide. There are 1.8 billion around the world, equal to 23% of the global population. In the next 30-50 years, they will be baby boomers and will require physical and mental assistance to perform their day-to-day activities, AI will certainly help keep things on track such as paying their bills, maintaining health etc.
AI will also contribute to generating new income sources such as farmers will be using AI to improve the productivity of their production whereas humans looking for 9-5 fixed jobs will struggle to get on as AI will certainly replace manpower requirements and save billions of dollars for employers.
AI will do deep data analysis and syntheses of human and machine behavior and implement solutions on their own. Things like programming, designing and scaling will be taken care of by AI and a very few highly skilled professionals will be required to test implements rather than a whole team of professionals.

It seems like certain professions will be completely wiped out just like when previously manual efforts were replaced with Industrialization and now Industrialization is being replaced by digitization.
Possibility 4: Diminishing empathy among Humanity
Thinking is something that makes humans a social creature whereas when humans start using AI to get relieved from the thinking process, it will impact their cognitive ability. Our coming generations will be surprised to hear the word “empathy” as it does require cognitive thinking.
Or we might be more empathetic towards AI than humans as we will depend on AI for our social life. Future generations of kids will be surprisingly attached to AI that they might not be interested in feeling and sensing things in the real world.
Possibility 5: Rise in crime of all types
Being completely reliant on AI software will diminish our decision-making capabilities. The worst case scenario is when these software are attacked by AI-driven cyber attacks and test our analytical abilities.
On the downside, AI will certainly contribute to reducing the self-esteem of our coming generation by making humans dependent on technology therefore without AI, decision-making capabilities will not be at best which might lead to crime in our society.
As of now, AI is getting trained on human behavior analysis but in the future human behavior will depend on what AI wants to train humans. A very recent example of controlling human behavior is YouTube shorts which shorten our attention span and make it difficult to focus on complex tasks.
Possibility 6: Manipulate inflation
Al will help improve the productivity of an individual which further increases purchasing power but worry will start when the rise of purchasing power increases the demand-supply, therefore leading to inflation.
Possibility 7: Interrupt governance and research institution
There is no wonder that the government will be influenced by AI technology to improve their existing system to serve their citizens but they need to set strict regulations on its use to protect the data of their citizens. Here, a collaboration between private players and the government under strict regulations and policies will be the key factor to improving the productivity of the nations, making sure the citizens are improving their earning capability to continue contributing to the federal and state taxes.
When it comes to ethical research practices, plagiarism has already hit hard research institutions’ capability to genuinely conduct ethical research studies. Over time, research institutions need to very carefully regulate their practices.
Possibility 8: Need of a few workers to serve humanity
Everything we do with AI assistance will question the capability of human thinking. The trend of hunting the best minds will be left behind to chase the best AI technology regardless of human assistance. Companies will use AI platforms to serve their B2B customers and B2B customers will eliminate human interaction to improve their productivity.
Overall, the working class will be impacted the most as companies would prefer technology that costs them less and improves their productivity on a subscription basis. At the same time, AI will help to feed and improve the productivity of people who use it in their favor.
In the next 25 -50 years, we will see the thinking patterns of humans change as they would prefer to relax over working for an employer 9 to 5. Humans will become smart at the touch of our fingertips and save a lot of time for their leisure activities. The ones who do not agree with AI will be left behind and will suffer to raise enough income for their living.
To summarize, People with emotional intelligence will have less space over those who trust more on AI technology than their cognitive thinking. Our coming generations will wonder to hear about the stories of ancestors' cravings for AI and would consider themself lucky to have everything at their fingertips.
