Crash, Reboot & Reprioritize - Part 1

I'm sounding an alarm because on July 8, 2020 stress ravaged my body in a way that will remain etched in my brain forever.

The night of July 7th, my body tried to warn me something bad was happening to me.

Because I'd never experienced this before, I didn't know the signs.

As a result of my ignorance, I concluded that I may have overworked myself because I suffer from what I call "Type-A DNA."

So, I decided it would be wise to go to bed early and rest my body. Well, that turned out to be a bad move.

At about 2 A.M., I woke up and saw and felt that the entire left side of my face was paralyzed.

My reflection in the mirror caused my heart to skip a few beats...there was no way that was my face.

I immediately concluded that I needed to go to a hospital emergency room.

However, as the USA was under lockdown due to COVID-19, I was against the idea of going anywhere near a hospital emergency room.

Another look in the mirror convinced me that I had no choice, so I rushed to the hospital.

Part 2 of my story, which will be published next Wednesday, will share my experience in a hospital emergency room during Covid-19. This series is about the damages of unrecognized stress.
