Over the past four years, Belden Inc. and 2Heads have cultivated an exceptional partnership characterised by understanding, trust, and a shared commitment to excellence. This collaboration has centred around the creation and implementation of five Belden Customer Innovation Center (CIC) , each strategically located to reflect Belden's global influence and commitment to innovation.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Belden has a strong legacy of technology and innovation, and its technology leadership is a crucial part of its ongoing transition to a solutions provider. This leadership will be even more important in the future as the company continues to invest in and provide the basis for network and data solutions. The journey began in 2020, marked by a revolution within the Belden world. The first CIC, a significant milestone, not only showcased an inspiring space but also played a pivotal role in altering the perception of the Belden brand positively. Each CIC is similar in design and capabilities but tailored to address regional needs while drawing from the expertise and resources of all centres.

THE CHALLENGE

Belden, the global leader in network and data solutions, wanted to create a experiential space that could showcase their innovative solutions and technology leadership; encourage collaboration and discussion, and host demonstrations and talks with studio-quality surroundings.

THE RESOLUTION

Stuttgart, Germany - The Foundation

Located in the historical heart of the industrial automation industry, the Stuttgart CIC is where foundational technologies and solutions are developed.

Stuttgart marked the start of the CIC revolution, demonstrating the benefits of the Belden network; paving the way for the next generation of how Belden interacts with its customers. The CIC’s mission is to help customers accelerate the design and implementation of robust, reliable and secure industrial networks that deliver the data and insight needed to fuel better business performance. The core content experience in this location featured a the Innovation Discovery Wall as seen in the image below and a three-sided touch enabled cube display highlighting Belden’s core stories.

Santa Clara, California - The Catalyst

Situated in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Santa Clara CIC accelerates innovation and partnerships, driving technological advancements forward.

The location introduced a new version of the core content experience – a two-sided, inverted, display called ‘the book’ which was which heightened the level of immersion for customers as by being surrounded by the content.

Shanghai, China - The Connection

Shanghai serves as a connection to the world’s largest markets and is at the forefront of technology, robotics, electric vehicles, and wireless technology.?

This location landed a new interpretation of the Innovation Discovery Wall. The IDW enabled a large imposing digital display, to meet the clients needs it was a multi-purpose display enabling story discovery. It was interactive through an iPAD, also can transition to a large town-hall display and a welcome screen.??

Chicago, Illinois - The Discovery

In the birthplace of Belden over 120 years ago, the Chicago CIC focuses on discovering and harnessing the power of data to help customers unlock their potential and achieve greater success.?

This location featured an immersive experience area with three large interactive displays providing a great backdrop for presentations. Providing an ecosystem for Belden customers to co-innovate with sales and product engineers to develop, test, document, and validate proven solutions that drive efficiency, security and innovation.?

Bangalore, India - The Explorer

Located in one of the world's fastest-growing and evolving markets, the Bangalore CIC explores new opportunities and technologies. It is the latest Belden CIC to launch, stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of Belden and 2Heads. Here, the core Belden stories we’re delivered through a large rotating interactive interface named the ‘Belden Eye’, with the centrepiece; the immersive shared VR experience called Infinity.??

The recent inauguration of the Bangalore CIC marked a significant moment for 2Heads, reflecting on the success of a truly collaborative client-agency relationship. The journey of discovery and transformation embarked upon since 2020 has not only been inspiringly contagious but has also paved the way for a future characterised by innovation, excellence, and continued success for both Belden and 2Heads.??
