Cracking Love's Code: The How, Not the Who

Cracking Love's Code: The How, Not the Who

In realms of passion, truth we often shove,

Wrapped in a guise, the lies about what we love.

That cherished thing, that soul, that tender dove,

Yet starting, it seems, will be no gentle push or shove.

Let's heed the call to ponder, to think, to dream,

To fathom how to love, not just what may gleam.

For in this shift, life's deeper currents stream,

A river of connection, more real than it may seem.

In our quest for love, we search in various realms—our workplaces, among people, in sports, and in the broader tapestry of life. Yet, amidst this pursuit, we're seldom guided on how to truly love. The question of "who" may be overemphasized, but the "how" often remains unexplored.

We've established rules dictating where, when, and why we can love. These parameters are subject to debate, yet curiously, the discussion of how to love is frequently overlooked. Have you ever pondered why some effortlessly infuse love into everything they do, while others grapple with this endeavor?

Who are these individuals enveloped in a constant embrace of love? They seamlessly give and receive, establishing a harmonious exchange. Conversely, there are those who find it challenging to even welcome, let alone reciprocate, love.

Let's take a moment to consider:?

Could love find its inception in acts of kindness, a tender touch, or a heartfelt word—a symphony of gestures akin to the sweetest melody ever heard?

Alternatively;?

Could it be in the moments, both big and small,

A shared laugh, a knowing look, answering the soul's call.

To love is to listen, to understand, to be there,

In joy and sorrow, to show that you truly care.

Could it possibly be acceptance unbound, a safe harbor in the storm,

A place where hearts find refuge, where they can transform.

To love is to cherish, to hold dear and true,

To see the beauty in others, and in oneself too (now here’s the catch)?

How does one find that beauty in self - do they even love ourselves??

Is there love, known for love to be felt, or is self just so used to being abused, harrowed or unwanted that any thing different may now feel like a scare??

Nothing nice and warm, comforting or rare is good enough to unlearn, how to not be at warfare.?

The questions to be asked therefore begin with :?

Are we teaching ourselves, what it is to being present, in body, mind, and soul,

Nurturing a connection that makes two halves whole.

To love is to forgive, to let go of the past,

To build a future together, a love that will forever last.

First with ourselves, enough to give to a new.?

Is it something we know, or do we just take and throw it all away, along with ourselves, back in the same old pool?

Have you ever been able to dance of give and take, a balance finely spun,

A dance that's never easy, but oh, so worth the run.

Do we know, for sure love is to be vulnerable,?

to open up your heart, now, today and forever.

Knowing that in doing so, you're creating a work of art.

In the tapestry of love, there's a vital part,

It begins within, a journey to one's own heart.

For in loving oneself, a masterpiece you impart,

A canvas of self-worth, where self-love finds its start.

Then comes the advanced parts :?

Deeper realms reveal a richer, nuanced grace.

With eloquence and wisdom, in love's profound space,

We delve into the intricacies, its advanced embrace.

Empathy, a cornerstone, where understanding grows,

A capacity to feel, to fathom others' highs and lows.

Empowerment, the strength to lift, to help love's river flow,

In giving and receiving, true connection ebbs and grows.

Forgiveness, a beacon, through trials and through strife,

A beacon that guides us to mend and heal our life.

Resilience, the fortitude to weather storm and strife,

To stand tall in love's tempest, and emerge through endless strife.

Sacrifice, a measure of love's depths so vast,

A willingness to give, to place another first, to last.

Compassion, a balm for wounds, a love that's unsurpassed,

To walk beside each other, through futures bright and past.

And wisdom, the culmination, where love and truth entwine,

A deep understanding, where roots and branches align.

With these advanced facets, love's essence we refine,

A tapestry of beauty, in love's grand design.

Once step closer to then, knowing more about?

commitment and care, let self-love take its place,

A promise to cherish, to honor, to embrace.

In this sacred dance, where love finds its space,

You're crafting a masterpiece, a timeless, boundless grace.

So, how does one love? With patience, grace, and care,

With open arms and open hearts, a willingness to share.

It's a journey of a lifetime, a gift beyond compare,

To love is to discover life's most precious, rarest fare.

Do not love, if you do not know how to love?
