CPR Awareness
Awareness Session on CPR was Conducted by the Department of Nursing to CSE Students . The practical session was really a eyeopener to all the youngsters where they can reachout to all their family members.
CPR is a combination of chest compression and breath aid when someone gets a cardiac arrest. Normally People go unconscious and unresponsive when cardiac arrest happens.
Check for the heartbeat by keeping your ear on the chest area. If there is no hearbeat Here comes the CPR steps as follow:
1. Make sure the victim is lying on a flat surface.
2. Place your left hand on the Centre of the victim’s chest and keep it folded with your fingers of the right hand. This becomes an interlock.
3. Now start compressing the victim’s chest continuously.
Give 30 chest compressions
4. Repeat this cycle until he/she get a movement.
