CPPE support for trainee pharmacists

Are you a trainee pharmacist or do you work with a trainee pharmacist?

If you are a trainee pharmacist

As you start your foundation training year it can seem a challenge to maintain your learning while you are working in practice. We offer a wide range of resources to support you including e-learning and downloadable distance learning programmes. We also run a number of workshop events (online or face to face) each semester, across England, which are facilitated by local tutors.

Our guide,?Your foundation training year, has suggestions to get you started.

This guide tells you how we can support you to:

  • Gain evidence towards the GPhC learning outcomes?– we have mapped some of our events to the GPhC learning outcomes, and we signpost you to more information about structured assessment tools.
  • Prepare for your registration assessment?– we have suggested key programmes to support your revision, including mapping of CPPE and external resources to areas of high weighting.
  • Stay ahead in the job market?– we list key programmes to support you to prepare for interviews and to become accredited to provide services.

To access these programmes and book a workshop you will need to register as a trainee pharmacist with CPPE. If you would like to find out how to register, and to merge an existing pharmacy undergraduate account with your trainee pharmacist account, you can access information?here.

Our top picks for this year include:

Everything that they need to know about how to upgrade their account can be found on the trainee pharmacists page on the CPPE website.

Below are some recommendations for you to support others with their learning.

The CPPE helping others learn e-learning programme aims to ?to provide you with an overview of teaching and learning theory for adults and includes case study examples available for use or adaptation in your workplace.
