This week's focus:?Women in Pharma

Ahead of International Women's Day we look to two key individuals who are striving ahead and carving their journey through the pharmaceutical industry as woman in STEM. Both Chaturvedi and Khanolkar share their challenges as well as strategies for creating an equal healthcare landscape.?

Chaturvedi describes how she feels there are less opportunities for women within divisions such as mechanics or sales, within the pharmaceutical workforce. She believes in training as a key way of increasing representation and diversity within the team.

"Diversity should be the norm" Chaturvedi states, "This should actually not be a topic of discussion".

"I believe there is no stopping for women of any colour. Just take your passion with you, take everything else with a pinch of salt and go for your goal".

As we look ahead to International Women's Day, this Tuesday, Chaturvedi's comments command us to think about the women in our life and how, only together, can we improve gender equality across the board.
