Q1. Hey there, thank you for sitting down with us to do a featured story for our audience, can you tell us more about you?

HP Indigo is a division within HP, part of the Industrial Print Organization. We develop, manufacture and market digital printing solutions, including printing presses, proprietary consumables/supplies and workflow solutions.

Q2. Thank you for sharing a little bit about you, now, can you tell us more about your company?

HP sells advanced digital solutions to the following markets: commercial, flexible packaging, folding cartons, labels and packaging. Our customers print today for the consumer packaged goods world - pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, wet glue labels, pouches and other types of flexible packaging.

Q3. It is always fascinating to learn how people get started doing what they do, how did you get started?

We are looking for extending our business opportunities to adjacent markets, and started looking on a Direct to Cans printing using?our LEPx?technology (digital non inkjet technology).

Q4. The journey is not only about what we achieve in the end, it is a lot about what we learn along the way, can you please share with us more about what you have learned on this journey?

The can-making industry is very consolidated and traditional. The very high Minimum Order Quantities and high lead times are probably the most painful point for CPG world. The design limitations of the can-makers are also a limiting factor for brands. Current digital solutions are slow and expensive.

Q5. Where do you see your company in 5 years?

Evolve the can printing technology that will enable very low MOQ of few pallets, let any brand to print vibrant photo-realistic designs with font size up to 1pt, with "each can different" abilities - at affordable price and not x3-x5 as today.

Q6. Tell something that other people may not know about your company, your brand, or yourself?

HP Indigo Division are the largest supplier of digital printing equipment in the Labels & Packaging industry.
