University To Workplace Transition Update

We’re nearing the end of the University to Workplace Transition pilot project, and moving full steam ahead on the next round. We are starting our evaluation in May by gathering data from surveys with the students who took part and backed up by TASO evaluation. We’re excited to share the outcomes and impact of the project and how we will be expanding the project.

As part of the round, we’re already starting work on the Recruitment to Workplace Transition, improving joined-up working in this crucial transition period.

If you’re interested in taking part, please get in touch by [email protected].

OneSpace & School to University Transition Projects

School to University Transition

  • Up to 7 Mentoring sessions, between school ending and university beginning to support students with Mental Health, Neurodiversity, Disability and Wellbeing.
  • The Main goal is to ensure the student is supported during the transition, while school support has finished, and to help them get the required support in place before university, including support with the DSA application.
  • We focus on communicating the student’s needs with HEI support systems and linking to external support where needed.

OneSpace

  • All students can access OneSpace - with and without diagnosis. Developed by mental health professionals in HEI with the aid of students, the app aims to build student agency as advocated by Student Minds.
  • The Main goal is to ensure the student is supported during the transition, while school support has finished, and to help them get the required support in place before university, including support with the DSA application.
  • Please contact us if you’d like to be involved. Email [email protected].
