"Cowless in Burma" or Saving Little Min

The kids are all war orphans of the myriad ethnic insurgencies that have beset Burma since independence in 1948. They've all lost one or both parents in the fighting. All they're asking for is enough bread to buy a team of cows or bullocks (I suggested buffalo. But they said: "No!") to help with the ploughing of their community field -- currently done by the children themselves after school.
