$100 Per Cow: CO2 Tax For Farms In Denmark ?? ????
Denmark will be the first country to impose a CO2 tax on farms, starting in 2030. The government announced on Tuesday that this is aimed at reducing the impact caused by livestock emissions in the country. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/06/26/business/denmark-cows-carbon-tax/index.html
The proposal came from government-commissioned experts in February in a bid to help Denmark meet its 2030 goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 70%. Teenage Abortions Fall In Finland ???? ??
The number of teenage abortions in Finland dropped by 66% between 2000 and 2023, according to Finland's public health institute, THL. This significant reduction is credited to free contraception for adolescents and mandatory sex education in schools. In 2022, Finland also liberalised its abortion laws amid global debates on abortion rights.

Competing To Clean Up In Hungary ??
This impressive haul comes from a fun 10-day competition where over 150 enthusiastic volunteers, life-jacketed and ready for action, paddle through Hungary’s second-largest river in canoes, hunting for trash.
Thousands of muddy plastic bottles, Styrofoam chunks, and other waterlogged junk were piled high on a flatbed trailer by the Tisza River in Hungary—a whole metric ton of waste collected in just one day!
