I have been following this matter from the start (already in January, I was reposting news from the Futurism site on the subject) and I have taken it seriously since!
Despite the evidence of an upcoming pandemic, people preferred not to look and I don't know what kind of psychological mechanism (wishing?) led them to think that it was a Chinese problem and that they are not concerned!
This pandemic will teach us one thing: WE ARE ALL BOUND!
From now , we must realize that only one human being affected is all of Humanity who must feel concerned! Oops, don't leave right away, I know that this sentence will scare away almost all readers ... We will talk about it later ...

I explain my point of view to you:
For several days articles have been referring to Chloroquine as a possible treatment for COVID19.
The race for # covid19 treatments has brought chloroquine (Nivaquine), an antimalarial drug that has been on the market for 70 years, back to the fore.
The preliminary results seem spectacular: after six days of treatment with Plaquenil, only 25% of patients are still carrying the virus, the proportion being 90% in those not receiving treatment.
The viral load on D + 6 would be even lower in patients treated in addition with an antibiotic, azithromycin.
There are enough reasons to use this very inexpensive treatment now in Covid-19 patients.
"In China, Iran, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine are already part of the therapeutic protocols, advised by experts, some of them world famous."

Prevent and cure
This is the essence of my words.
More competent people are on the ground. People are dying every day and I will be totally stupid and oblivious if I don't pay attention!
So forgive me if I naively dare ask the question:
Why not distribute chloroquine now to everyone in quarantine with symptoms?
Before they develop the disease?
Preventively provide boxes to others?
I am not a doctor but it seems logical to me in such an emergency situation?
75% of patients treated in six days or more with an antibiotic.
Of course they will tell ask for more studies, measurements etc.
But when there is an emergency ???
Chloroquine is not a drug without side effects! Some people I know do not support it at all but still there is a real track there!
Combining isolation with preventive measures should help deceleration, no?
Most people who go to tropical countries are prescribed chloroquine for preventive treatment ... Why not this time?
In addition, this approach is perfectly measurable! We apply it and in 6 days we will see whether or not there is a case ... Yes I know ... the medical protocol :-(
