COVID vaccinations....'an all stakeholder responsibility,lets save lives'

'It seems governments are working flat out to get people vaccinated based on age and linearly vulnerability.There seems to be no action from private medical aid which receive huge monthly subscriptions from members. '

1. A wider CITIZENS engagement in the vaccination programme can see millions being vaccinated in a shorter time than the present strategy which relies on governments only.
2. Its pretty urgent to come up with unit cost for one vaccination.
3. Political parties should not only 'love' their members during election time. Lets see them setting up vaccination centres for their members
4. Families can pool resources in order to have their high risk relatives vaccinated.
5. Companies can also prioritise their staff ,with front line staff being a priority.
6. Individuals can take the initiative to have the vaccinations.
7. Financial institutions can come-up with vaccination loans
8. Army,police establishments should have 'sections cordoned off and used as vaccinations centres' using medical personnel.
9. All universities should come-up with vaccination programmes for the students
10. All technical colleges should be centres for vaccinations
11. Each School administration should come up with a vaccination programme for both teaches and pupils.
12. Mission hospitals can help out a lot to cater for communities around them and coordinate
13. Workers trade unions can also help out and roll out vaccinations programmes.
14. Communities can setup vaccination programmes and in conjuction with well wishers,NGOs etc vulnerable members in the community can be vaccinated too.
15. All the pogrammes above will operate within the national health services guidelines,the idea is to mobilise resources and speed up the process.
