Covid has not been kind

COVID has not been kind.

15 years ago I was recruited to be a recruiter.

7 years later, I started toying with the idea of going solo.

6 years ago I started doubting myself.

5 years ago, I started putting my ideas on paper.

In December 2015, Luelle Consulting was registered.

Although we had so many doubts initially, we had to be brave and face our biggest fears.

The strength to do so is only because of the candidates and clients that we had serviced over the years.

They were the ones who said, “go for it, we will support you”.

So although the birth of Luelle has been an amazing journey and each new day brings new challenges, it's been a journey of growth. It's been a journey of leaving your comfort zone and facing your fears. It's taken others to believe in us when we didn't believe in ourselves. In 2 months from now, we reach a milestone. Five years of being a mom-preneur and business owner. Embracing my hustle is by far the most profound feeling ever.

Along this journey, there have been record-breaking deals lost and made. There have been lives changed and enriched. There have been business acquaintances who have become friends.

All we know for sure is that we will always be ethical and honest. We will endeavor to represent the brand that we have built thanks to the support of so many people.

COVID has not been kind, it's been a rough 2020. Next year this time, I look forward to posting reflections again to celebrate our 6 year anniversary.

We will make it through, we will be ok………………..We have no choice.
