Covid, Coping and Custody

During this time, I have gotten several inquiries asking for guidance on what parents with final custody agreements must do during the pandemic. Multiple other inquiries have come from people who are in the middle of the divorce process.  The inquiries are centered on a hesitation of sending the children to the ex's house for their weekend. If there is a Court Order, you must follow it. If there is not a Court order and you are involved in a custody dispute, judges may feel that you were trying to deprive your spouse of access. Before you violate a Court Order or make a unilateral decision, you should call your attorney.
