COVID-19 Update From Pink Elephant
Now that COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic and is evolving and changing at a rapid pace, it’s understandable that we have all become distracted from work to think about our family, friends and co-workers.
We want to reach out to you at this unprecedented and challenging time to let you know what we’re doing, how our business operations are changing, and how we are still able to help you – if needed.
New Protocols at Pink Elephant
It should go without saying that the health and well-being of our Pink Team, our customers and partners must take priority. To that end, we have closely followed the updates and guidance provided by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and other expert advisors to ensure we keep risks to a minimum and do whatever we can to avoid spreading the virus and making the situation even worse.
With those over-arching objectives in mind, we have already rolled out some new policies and protocols:
- Last week we suspended all staff travel for the foreseeable future. This includes the delivery of on-site training and consulting. Our Account Management team is working closely with our customers to convert on-site projects to online – and we’re pleased to report that most organizations are receptive and welcoming of this move.
- We also requested that Pink staff avoid all personal international and cross-border travel. Anyone who is currently in transit, or who elects to proceed with some personal travel, will be required to self-quarantine for at least 14 days on their return.
- To protect our most vulnerable staff (i.e. those with underlying health conditions that would put them at increased risk) we instructed those Pinkers to work from home for the foreseeable future.
- Yesterday we identified all office-based staff who could work effectively from home and instructed them to do just that, starting today
- Regular daily briefings to keep our staff informed of the current situation.
Suspension of On-Site Services
If you’re currently expecting to attend an in-house delivery of a training course, or work in-person with a Pink Consultant in a consulting engagement, please speak with the sponsor within your organization for details about alternative arrangements, or call us at 1-888-273-PINK (+1-905-331-5060) We have already transitioned most of our planned on-site training deliveries to the online format, and where practicable we have also transitioned some on-site consulting projects to an online engagement using state-of-the-art video-conferencing and other tools.
Scheduled Online Training Services
Should you, as a valued Pink customer, be planning to attend a training course any time soon - rest assured all of our instructor-led web-based courses are going ahead as planned. In fact in the last few days we have added many new dates for each course through the end of this year.
Also, as you might expect, our comprehensive portfolio of self-paced online training courses are unaffected – you can purchase and take those courses anytime, as usual.
In case you’ve not considered or investigated these online training options up to now, let me take this opportunity to say that they have been in place for many years now and are extremely popular with many of your peers. Pink Elephant has a lot of experience in the design and delivery of training courses in these formats. We receive excellent feedback, and the exam pass rate for self-paced online courses is the highest of all formats.
