Imagine my surprise as I reached a near-empty Gurgaon airport. In my nearly 18 years of corporate travel, I’ve never had this experience , which just goes to prove “there’s always a first”!

Safety First - airlines are reinventing passenger experience. Safety kits including face shield, sanitizer etc. have become a norm. And the excellently trained airline staff made the overall flying safe and easy.

The show must go on - our factory in Bangalore has been up and running as per government guidelines. It was encouraging to see the zeal and enthusiasm with which our employees commit to our business - Covid or not, we will sell!

Importance of Human connections - while all of us have taken virtual working in our stride, my travel has reaffirmed my belief that nothing can ever replace the importance of human connections - having shared experiences is what makes relationships stronger, and having the opportunity to travel again with my team has helped strengthen my resolve to continue this.

Work on the go – travel by day or night, work on the go stays constant. The only change is – more space and plug points at airports! 

The world will not go to normal by itself, this new normal is what we will create – one step at a time, one travel experience at a time.
