Sweden has no "full lock down" so we may expect the 7 day periodic pattern in Sweden to be the "natural pattern" of the virus infection rate but we see for sure the same 7 day pattern appear also in some "lock down countries" ...
Clearly there is a 7 day swing in the virus infection rate ...
But do we get more infections during the week of work or during the weekend ?
Difficult to say ...
- Working people (60% of the active population) go around every day with more risk to catch the virus on the working days and less risk in the weekend sitting at home.
- People in the "stay at home" lock down have less risk to catch the virus on the working days of the week but if there is a working partner in the family then they catch the virus in the weekend anyway from the infected working partner ...
