Sweden has no "full lock down" so we may expect the 7 day periodic pattern in Sweden to be the "natural pattern" of the virus infection rate but we see for sure the same 7 day pattern appear also in some "lock down countries" ...

Clearly there is a 7 day swing in the virus infection rate ...

But do we get more infections during the week of work or during the weekend ?

Difficult to say ...

Working people (60% of the active population) go around every day with more risk to catch the virus on the working days and less risk in the weekend sitting at home.
People in the "stay at home" lock down have less risk to catch the virus on the working days of the week but if there is a working partner in the family then they catch the virus in the weekend anyway from the infected working partner ...
