COVID 19 and our mind, body, spirit, emotions!

During this time of social distancing and social isolation, how are you taking care of your mind, your body, your emotions, and your spirit?
No one can do that for you. How do you recharge under this stressful time we are all facing in Canada and around the world?
Just a suggestion; try to establish a routine with your family or yourself. Limit time listening to the news it won't change today, if you can, do some fitness activity as it releases those feel good hormones and helps with stress, think about hobbies, watch funny or comfort movies (be careful not to spend all day on the couch), divide your day up into sections and fill each section.
Think about how to fill your mind, body, emotions and spirit, what does that look and feel like? It will be different for everyone. It is an active choice.
Use your imagination and remember self care is up to you. Having your tools for happiness and emotional recharge is an important for our children to also learn. It's never too late to learn something new.
We are all under stress and it is an individual responsibility to create a positive home and good mental health.
As Canadians we are a resilient nation and shall recover. Never give up.
