COVID-19 OBSERVATIONS

I don’t need to tell you we’re living thru a turbulent period that is rippling around the world. We are all dealing with disruptions to society and business as we all grapple with and respond to a global threat. While not yet born, I can’t help but see a comparison to World War II. That generation faced down a great risk and through uncountable personal sacrifices, came together and overcame the most dangerous enemy the world had ever known. History judged them “the greatest generation.” A recognition hard earned at great cost.

Our history isn’t written yet, but everyday I am encouraged by what I see people do for each other. It’s not perfect and I also see and forgive some personal miss-steps. But I see far more good than not. The dangers we face are real and I am proud to do my part to help others. Perhaps tomorrow our actions will be judged as honorable as those that came and sacrificed before us. God bless us all.
