Confidence in the safety of our workplaces, our staff and customers is key to getting sales flowing again, supporting growth of revenues, GDP, and tax revenues.

Issue 14 "Labour Force Survey Results April 2020: Manitoba" of my Weekly Economic Digest (WED) directly addresses the high-level contours of the effects of COVID-19 and the lockdowns on Manitoba's labour market since February 2020. While all age groups have been affected by COVID-19, those 15 to 24 have seen the largest decline in their employment numbers.
