Covid-19 grew exponentially across nation boundaries & oceans is because of
- Connected World, Global Market with Lots of International Business Related Travel
- Increasing Global Tourism
- Easy Norms & Access for Visa, Flights, Hotels & Packages
- Increasing domestic travel due to growing income of middle class
Increasing travel & tourism also comes with its own set of challenges. For international traveler, tourists are recorded at “Point of Entry”, and after that he/she is free to roam around the country. For domestic traveler there is almost no record.
On one hand we should not restrict/monitor tourists in their day-to-day activities, but on the other hand there has to be a mechanism to track/locate a person when required. This is extremely relevant and important in today’s scenarios because we want to know which all places a tourist visited, whom all he/she met etc so that the entire chain can be traced and pin-down the virus suspects.

While blessings could come as an opportunity, it's moral duty of each one of us to contribute towards disaster management and it's mitigation, tourist tracking is one of those solutions.
