Covid-19 and Flexibility

Covid-19 and Flexibility

There are many issues for clinics to address in this pandemic. And this means that you need to be flexible.

For example, pricing your services appropriately isn’t going to be easy. You have to balance your need for revenue with the financial situation of your clients.

So the first thing to bear in mind is flexibility. Be flexible with your pricing. Review it regularly throughout the pandemic.

This applies to recruitment as well. Be willing to be flexible with recruitment. Assess what you actually need, but don’t take on a whole bunch of people that you won’t really need later.

You’re also going to have to deal with a lot of onboarding. You will be taking on new patients at a rate of knots soon, if it’s not already happening!

And that means that you have to tick the appropriate boxes. But you still need to be flexible with your approach. You will need an onboarding system that works with the times and also changes with them.

What you have to remember is that Covid-19 is going to evolve. No one knows what the long-term picture will look like. Nor when the crisis will truly be over.

It looks as if it’s an issue that will last months or years, rather than weeks. And some people will find that a pretty daunting prospect.

So you have to be flexible with messaging as well. Be ready to keep things as simple as possible. And don’t be worried about repeating yourself 1,000 times! But do ensure that messaging is kept up-to-date, as this pandemic evolves.

As clinics, we have to be clear on messaging. We have to respond rapidly to new developments. And we also have to be open-minded about our approach.

Flexibility is key. There is no room for black-and-white thinking!
