COVID-19 Conversation: Arihia Witana
****Check out Arihia Witana's new book: Turning your TAONGA into a BUSINESS - available on Amazon, Kindle, Barnes & Noble, BookTopia, Nobo****
Is it okay to start another book while already reading another? I'm definitely okay with this notion - I get bored easily so this helps me get through books quickly.
I had fun chatting to Arihia (Ari) Witana over the weekend about how she is coping with business during this COVID-19 season and also her book she released in January this year. It entails the essentials for starting your own business, if you have an indigenous influence as a part of your upbringing.
I was impressed with her story around how and why she started her consultancy (she was unemployed and it seemed right at the time). I think this is encouraging for people who are currently out of work. With the internet as an access point, see what resources you have and can use to utilize during this time of self-isolation, if not to start a business then to upskill or learn more in an area you're passionate about.
