Cover letters = online dating profile ??

There are many similarities between online dating and job applications. Both online daters and recruiters need an online profile (Cover Letter) to attract their ideal match depending on their goals (Job Outcome). So if a stranger were to read your online profile, would they find it interesting or just see generic words strung together??

Just like online daters, recruiters reading cover letters can easily tell when a candidate hasn't used their own words. The best cover letters are ones that recruiters are attracted to and that make them say, "Wow! I want to see more of this person." And so how can you do that with your Cover Letter? In this article, I'll discuss the most impressive Cover Letter I've ever received… and I've read A LOT of cover letters in my many years of recruiting!?
