On Court Street, you'll see it come to life
Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber
The premier business and civic organization dedicated to growing the vibrancy and economic prosperity of the region.
Last Saturday night, I visited the terrific new Gatherall food hall at Factory 52 in Norwood with my daughter. We sat at a table and absolutely devoured the garlic noodles from Nice Nice Noodles & Rice, a new restaurant that was founded by Mapi De Veyra. Oh my, they were delicious.
When I coincidentally met Mapi a few days later, I was delighted to hear how excited he is to be one of 66 vendors at the annual Asian Food Fest, taking place next weekend, April 27-28, on Court Street. For more than a decade, Asian Food Fest has highlighted Cincinnati’s diverse food options, and it has helped support entrepreneurs and restauranteurs as they take chances on new products and new restaurants. The crowd is among my favorite in all of Cincinnati – people from all over the region coming together to explore food and culture.
Asian Food Fest is a highlight of the Chamber’s aim to grow cultural vibrancy in this region. Asianati – the event founder and co-producer – and so many other diverse organizations and groups are examples of how culture is built in our region. They find ways to connect people to what we have to offer and work to ensure that everyone belongs here.
Cultural vibrancy is ultimately about belonging. And next weekend, on Court Street, you’ll see it come to life at Asian Food Fest. Don’t miss it.
