First-year students successfully completed course facilitator session two. The session emphasized superconductivity, BCS theory, and superconductor applications such as magnetic levitation and SQUID. Our course facilitator defined superconductors and discussed the different applications of superconducting materials. I am grateful to Dr. G. Bharathi for facilitating the Physics for Engineers course.
