Courageous Justice
Barry Lewis Green
Forward together, stronger; 6 Strategies across 6 Temperaments for elevated conversations, capacities and Character Leadership. I teach, speak, coach, write, and create for noble, purposeful, united action. Aim High.
Justice. What is it, in practice? Independent thought. The refrain from pre-judging (prejudice) and backbiting. In other words, I would suggest Discernment and Dignity. Making fair agreements, and restitution where necessary and possible. Honoring ourselves and others. The Courage to stand for what we see as right and true. Consider then...
Independence. Discernment. Dignity. Fairness. Honor. Courage.
The walk of Justice. The countenance and gait of Justice. What it looks like.
Yesterday, I shared on noble Justice, and this month I have been digging into COOLness and Character as strength that provides the assured step, composure, and Confidence necessary through these times of change and challenge. I have been diving into the 4 Cardinal Virtues of Stoicism.
That said, we have looked at Courage... and now Justice. My thought to you is in the form of 5 questions.
- What would be the value of courageous Justice for you now and forward?
- What would that look like, where and when and with whom?
- What challenges might possibly hinder such practice?
- What would help move you beyond those hindrances?
- What would be the return on such investment of courageous Justice?
Reflect on Courage and Justice. Consider the afore noted questions.
Then, act upon such.
I will be doing same.
That said, I will also be moving onwards towards Temperance/Moderation... as part of my exploration of Stoicism.,,, on this meandering through COOLness for May.
Peace, passion and prosperity...
