Downtown Fort Worth’s newest hotel, The Le Méridien, opened last month. Part of the Marriott Bonvoy family, the hotel includes 188 rooms, a fitness center, a rooftop pool on the 5th floor, a French cuisine-inspired lobby restaurant, Bouvier Brasserie, and a 14th-floor rooftop bar, Annex Fort Worth. First announced in 2020, the hotel is a renovation of the Hilton Annex Building, which had been vacant since the mid-2000s. The annex was built in 1970 above a garage which dates to the 1920s. The building’s interior has been extensively renovated and carries a strong mid-century modern design motif throughout the public areas and rooms. The Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is the latest in a boom of hotel development in downtown, which has now seen nine new hotels open in the last nine years, totaling 1,700+ new rooms. At the time of writing, no more hotels are currently under construction. The development team includes Ashford Hospitality Trust, Blueprint Hospitality, Premier Hotels & Resorts and Remington Hospitality. Special thanks to Executive Chef Damian Lopez and MCA Group for arranging the tour. Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. Visit Fort Worth #FortWorth #DowntownFortWorth #FortWorthHotels
