The Courage to Heal

Principal Trainer and Consultant | Conscious Leadership Teacher | Empowering leaders to build essential skills, develop strategic initiatives, and drive impactful change.
I had the opportunity to speak at Pastor Karim Camara’s Abundant Life Church in Brooklyn, NY on Mother’s Day.
My message titled The Courage to Heal was rooted in one true fact, that Woman are the Anchor of their Family.
In no way is it my intent to minimize the efforts and contribution of men because they are so relevant and critically important to the foundation of a family.
However, there is something uniquely wonderful about a woman who prioritizes her family’s well-being to ensure they are emotionally, spiritually, mentally & physically sound.
So, how does a woman successfully anchor her family?
She first anchors herself.
How does a woman anchor herself?
She finds the courage to heal.
Heal from what?
The pain of the past and the pain of the present. I’m speaking of traumatic experiences like abuse, neglect, poverty, abandonment, and lack of love or bullying, divorce or the loss of a child.
Healing offers a woman room to be her very best to and for herself first.
Do you need to be anchored so you can be the anchor for those you love? Start by being for yourself emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically well.
Do this by getting at the root cause of an issue in your life.
There is always a reason for patterns of unhealthy behavior, hurt, pain and even neglect of self.
Dig deep and begin your healing process.
If you want help toward your personal path to healing I invite you to take advantage of an opportunity I’m currently offering…
