Welcome to MindBytes, where we explore the intersection between authenticity and transformational success.
If this is your first step toward creating an aligned career and legacy, you'll be able to learn more about me and what I do here.
Growing up, I watched my mom embody resilience in the most extraordinary way. She commuted two hours each day to San Francisco to attend FIDM, often working late into the night drafting and sewing patterns. I can still picture her, hunched over the sewing machine, undeterred even after an accident with the needle that was especially tricky to manage since she only has one hand.
Her determination was relentless, her creativity unstoppable. She taught me—without ever needing to say it—that excuses don’t have to hold you back. She showed me that pursuing your dreams is hard work, but it’s worth it. Watching her taught me to never give up on what inspires you.
That lesson stayed with me. It’s why I’ve been able to find resilience in my own life, even in the face of challenges that at times felt impossible.
From Trauma to Triumph
I’m a survivor of domestic violence. Rebuilding my sense of self after trauma wasn’t easy, and it’s a journey I’m still on. That’s why I started my podcast, The Hello You Show, to help women reconnect with their true selves and find their strength after hardship. It’s why I built my coaching business, to help women recognize their value and regain the confidence to show up as the incredible individuals they are.
Now, I’m taking that mission a step further. I’m pouring my heart and soul into a new chapter with Rowan and Hazel Co., a brand designed to help women feel confident, authentic, and empowered as they pursue their dreams.
The Power of Showing Up
I’ve learned that confidence isn’t something that just appears; it’s something we cultivate every single day. It’s about the small ways we show up for ourselves—taking care of our health, nurturing our mindset, and honoring who we are through the way we present ourselves to the world.
Fashion has always been a part of how I’ve shown up. It’s a form of self-expression and an outward reflection of how we feel inside. When we wear something that makes us feel bold, elegant, and authentic, we step into our power in a very real way. And while it may seem like just clothes, it’s not—it’s a way of saying to ourselves, “I am worth it.”
Rowan and Hazel Co. was born from this belief. It’s a line of affordable, sophisticated pieces designed to help women express who they are while feeling confident and ready to take on whatever lies ahead. Whether it’s a bold blazer for a presentation, a simple piece of jewelry that speaks to your personality, or a journal to organize your dreams, it’s about helping women show up as their best selves.
Giving Back
This brand isn’t just about me. From the beginning, I knew I wanted it to make a difference for women everywhere. That’s why $5 from every purchase goes directly to causes that support and uplift women. Organizations like Dress for Success, VOW for Girls, and Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence are doing the hard, important work of creating opportunities and safety for women. Empowerment doesn’t stop with a wardrobe—it has to be about real, tangible impact too.
I’m so excited to share Rowan and Hazel Co. with you. It’s not just a brand; it’s a movement to help women step into their confidence and express themselves authentically. It’s about showing up for ourselves and for each other.
