Once you subscribe, you’ll receive insights, curated links, resources, stories and the coolest things I’m learning about being courageous and bringing my A game to creating a prosperous, ethical and sustainable coaching and facilitation practice.?

I have one request as you read this newsletter. Please read it about YOU. Not about me. Know that you can create the most amazing version of this newsletter that you possibly can.?

Five things in my Courage catalyst series::

  1. The Courage Toolbox?
  2. Book I'm Recommending
  3. Quote I'm pondering
  4. Action that Inspires
  5. Playground?

May this enrich and support your own journey of becoming the courageous leader with ease and joy.?

??The Courage Toolbox

Challenge Accepted!?

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited on our coaching cohort to join a daily BE SERVICE challenge.? The challenge seemed simple. To see how many people I could help and serve in a day. This will take 3 C’s - Commitment, Creativity and Courageous Action.?

?I felt a nudge to say YES. Sometimes we create opportunities for growth by following a nudge to be heart centered.?

I am learning important lessons of being service not doing service as I am immersing myself in this experience.

Here is what I’ve noticed over the week.?

  • Commitment is a choice and it is freeing. It comes from the place of ‘love to’ rather than ‘have to’. I saw this challenge as an opportunity to test, experiment and expand from and I am loving it.
  • The more I am in service to myself the more I can be of service for others. That is when my Creativity kicks in.?
  • It's the highs and lows, zigs and zags, twists and turns of life that shape us and bring out our authentic self. This week gave me moments to choose to serve where it matters most. I am grateful I was being of service to my family.?
  • Being in service is energizing and joyful. Each conversation opens up possibilities that?we never knew existed and inspires Courageous action.

I am curious. What nudges have you been listening to or ignoring?

[In last week's edition, I committed to having 25 courageous conversations over the year?to show up powerfully in service of my clients. No strings attached. I invited you to send me a dm or to email me. You can also claim one of these calls here. Spaces are few so follow your nudge if you wish to experience this.]??

?? Book I’m Recommending

Mastery - The Keys to Success and Long Term Fulfillment ~ George Leonard

No alt text provided for this image
This book is a recommended read as part of our Coaching Curriculum.

Leonard shares 5 master keys to build mastery in any discipline. At the heart of it, mastery is practice. Mastery is staying on the path. This book has some powerful yet simple ways to identify patterns that shape our performance, character and destiny.?

While reading is optional, staying on the path of mastery isn’t.? If you would like to feed your curiosity, I am happy to share my notes and personal breakthroughs

?? Quote I’m Pondering?

?

"The only difference between BEING a master and BEING a student is that the master has mastered the art of ALWAYS BEING a student"?? ~ Steve Hardison

Have you experienced this way of BEING?

??Action that inspires

A PROMPT for the week inspired by Aesop.

It is easy to be brave from a safe distance.?

Today I came closer to………………………..

?? Playground?

This is anything that makes you either Grin, Gasp and Giggle.?

[Grin because you’re excited with possibility. Gasp because you’re thinking “How am I ever going to pull this off?”? Giggle because you’ll LOVE IT if it actually happens!]

Ever wondered what it’s like to create a weekly newsletter that fuels you to be more brave, less perfect??

I’ve never done this before but thought I’d invite one of you to a relaxed virtual coffee. If you want to ask any questions and experience what it’s really like to be a courage catalyst.

I’ve got an emoji written on my phone, all you have to do is drop the correct emoji below to be win the virtual coffee date! As soon as someone guesses the right one, I’ll drop it here and let you know.

Lets play! Get guessing!

Thanks for reading. I hope you find my thoughts useful for your own journey. I’d love to hear from you. Your feedback is a gift. Feel free to email me at [email protected].

Until next week!

Keep Couraging
