Courage to begin is more powerful

Courage is eternal quality of person of courageous person. If you have courage opportunity is abundance in the life. Still people are courageous to support you in all your endevuors of life. Purity of mind is necessary for courageous people. You become successful on the right path. It is internal success which nobody can snatch from your life. Once I read story not remembered exactly but, A rich boy asked his father, his wish (not exactly remembered as said). then his father said, you have to cross the desert and become shepherd in process of fulfilling your dream.

Then the boy replied “If i have to become shepherd, I am shepherd then”. That how courage makes our way. The thing is fulfilling our wish may not be easy road still if you are ready to face it, that where courage comes and gives strength to make our way. Ultimately as our wish is fulfilled, we are successful. Courage makes way when you let it make way. The same trick applies for success as well. Courage can be earned through the experiences that in general would not dare come near you. If you don’t give yourself a chance to live your fears, you would not be able to gain courage.

Courage and success are relative terms, depending highly on the circumstances. You may have courage, but you may not be ‘successful’. Or, you may be successful, but you may not have any courage. So, it’s better to focus on courage than success, because success would automatically make way. Sometimes with so much courage a woman/man doesn’t get succeeded, maybe due to natural conditions, for example. How would you measure that? Courage comes with time, experience and exposure of oneself to uncertain situations and circumstances. I think awareness and analysis comes before acting with courage.

Moreover, there is one more behaviour which we might confuse with courage, it is to act impulsively. Sometimes it works and people confuse it with courage. I don't think just only with courage you could be successful. You need preparation, Practice and equanimity to be successful in life. Courage helps you to take great risks that have greater potential in life. If you are not corage enough to take that chance, you are just leaving away an opportunity for you to be able to get a Success.

A friend of mine has huge feet - sized UK 13. A few years ago I was strolling through a high-end departmental store in Malaysia with him. He saw a shoe he liked, asked for it in his size, tried it on, went to the cashier to pay with his credit card. The odd thing was that the price wasn't written on the shoe, he hadn't asked the price, and he wasn't particularly wealthy - he was in the early stages of a startup. I asked him, "Why didn't you even ask for the price of the shoe before buying?" He explained, "Asim, the shoes could cost anything from US$200 to $1k, I liked them, and my shoe size is pretty difficult to find in Malaysia. If I spend 2 hours finding a shoe at the lowest end of that scale I'd save up to $800 but my 2 hours is worth way more than that to me." The shoes ended up costing around $300.

Being a generalist is a trap! Warren Buffett calls this the Circle of Competence. Imagine a small circle within a big circle. The bigger circle is what you think you know. The smaller circle (inside the bigger one) is what you really know. This small circle represents your area of expertise. This small circle represents whatever you're an expert, where you easily stand out. Where nobody can beat you. Stop being a generalist! Why? Every time you compete against others that have natural gifts, you will lose. Every time!

In Charlie Munger's words:“You have to figure out where you’ve got an edge. And you’ve got to play within your own circle of competence. The size of that circle is not very important; however, knowing its boundaries is vital.” So, to answer your question, “How can I be successful?”To win, you've got to know your circle of competence, then double down upon those strengths.Remember this: Leveraging a single outstanding skill is more valuable than having a thousand mediocre ones.
