Courage is not the absence of fear!

If you'd have told me in Jan of 2021 that I'll be starting out H2 (second half of the year?) at a new company with a new role, I'd have laughed at you.

But honestly, we only grow by embracing change and what we are afraid of. Because courage is not the absence of fear!So yes, I took a role knowing full well it'll be outsider my comfort zone, new things to be learnt, lots of unlearning to do and new connections to be established!.

But I think I knew in my gut that this is what is needed to ensure I don't become a dinosaur or a frog in the pond and keep my learning curve growing upward.So as off today I am excited about all the learning opportunities that comes my way. This was in no way an easy decision! Took a good few days and nights of thinking, over thinking, being anxious and second guessing.A pros and cons list, lots of suggestions and support finally helped me say yes to this new amazing role!
