Coleman: Well we are primarily studio based and only do live shows if it is a special event or occasion, so if fans of our work see a show advertised, you best believe it is going to be phenomenal because that means we are coming out for something special.

LAMITSCHKA: What has been your greatest challenge in the music business?

ANSWER: Trends change so quickly in the industry that as soon as you have a piece ready to pitch to a record company or artist, it is already out of date or gets rejected because it doesn’t fit into the latest trend as opposed to companies being able to listen to a piece of music and seeing how the arrangement can be updated. The lack of insight is very frustrating.

LAMITSCHKA: As an artist, you have so many tasks such as recording, touring, interviews. What do you like best, what’s your favorite activity?

ANSWER: I love it all actually. The arts are such a part of the fabric of my being, I love everything that goes with it. I really love coming up with the concepts, directing and filming the music videos.

ANSWER: Every project is different so I can’t say that I prefer one over the other, but I always love to do projects that have never been done before either in their production or subject matter and we have an innovative record on tap for the first quarter 2021, which will be our women’s empowerment anthem.

LAMITSCHKA: Music has many new fans throughout Europe who may be hearing about you for the first time. How would you describe yourself and the music you play to someone who has never seen or heard you?

ANSWER: I am an all around renaissance man and that is the best way to describe myself. My love for the arts and my passion for the arts allows me to be responsible for creating so many different types of projects and the core of who The Metropolitan Cowboy is can be heard and both seen in all of the projects that we create. The diversity of our sound reflects the many layers of the man.
