Southerland Interview by Christian Lamitschka for Country Music News International

Southerland bonded over their southern small town upbringings, which they inject into the heart of their traditional storytelling and musical foundation. In “Along Those Lines” Southerland goes back to 90’s country roots with references to country legends Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson. While “Little Bit of You” reflects the duo’s innate ability to melodically blend modern and classic country into the perfect feel-good love song to unwind to at the end of a long day.

Christian Lamitschka: How was the last year for you? What were your highlights?

Southerland: It was actually one of the best years of our careers in Nashville so far as crazy as that sounds. We did a ton of writing and got some great songs out of it. Chris also got engaged!

Bobby Bare A Remarkable American Singer And Songwriter by Snehashree Mandal for Country Music News International

Bobby Bare, born 7th April 1935, then a young lad from Midwest, has contributed to country music profusely. He is one of the most esteemed and loved recording artists of the States. From Ironton, Ohio, he tried very hard in his initial years to get to where he is now at 85. In the early 1950s, Bobby was not entirely successful in selling his songs. But finally, after his deal got fixed with Capitol Records, his life headed in the direction he wanted it to move. But even, after that, he just had a few not-so-successful rock-and-roll single songs in his kitty.

Jeremy McComb Interview by Nigel Sharpe for Country Music News International

Fiercely Indie, Nashville based recording artist with songs on projects selling Over 6 Million Units (Including a Grammy Nominated Movie Soundtrack.) Jeremy McComb is a Road tested, relentless touring performer who has an incredible magic trick of audience connection. More Over than just the singing of his first releases to country radio (2007’s “Wagon Wheel, (Yes that one) – and Various singles that have hit country radio around the country) McComb is an entertainer and a story-teller, with a Live show that allows No false notes and makes sure nothing goes without being tied together for the purpose of a set-up and a pay off. Blending his knack for stories that bring crowds from full laughs to pin drop silence Jeremy’s connection with you, as a part of the experience, is un-matched. While still true, organic, real and raw.

Austin Tolliver Interview by Savina Todorova for Country Music News International

Savina Todorova: How was the last year for you? What were your highlights?

Austin Tolliver: The last year for me was absolutely fantastic. I know it sucked for a lot because of covid, but for me it was a dream come true year. I went from Rolling Stone party, the Versace mansion, and other Super Bowl parties and performances to signing a record deal with the exact label I wanted to sign with, Average Joes Entertainment. They are family and I'm blessed to be a part of the future and honored to be the artist that will take this label to the top.

Dango Rose Interview by Christian Lamitschka for Country Music News International

Christian Lamitschka: Music has many new fans throughout Europe who may be hearing about you for the first time. How would you describe yourself and the music you play to someone who has never seen or heard you?

Dango Rose: This album in particular was written and recorded on an American Civil War Fretless Banjo from the 1860s. It’s a Union Banjo that has metal castings on it that say Union Forever. In the early 200s, I was touring in Traditional Old-Time Americana String Bands. This album represents my songwriting from that era. It’s actually an older album that I only printed 300 physical copies of for family friends and just now decided to release via streaming platforms worldwide.
