The Country Is at a Crossroads... The Question- Will we be FREE, or...

The battle of politics has risen to such a crescendo that we are faced with what is arguably one of the worst choices ever to be presidential candidates. One "not great." One "Really Dishonest and Awful."

If there is anything that the Wikileaks dumps and Project Veritas videos have taught us, it is that, while politics is RIFE with dishonesty, corruption and lies, but, more importantly, that one party- The Democratic Party of the United States- has engaged in numerous, egregious behaviors that are designed, specifically, to disenfranchise YOU, the AMERICAN VOTER, out of one of your most important rights- your right to VOTE. Your vote, at least according to what we now know has already occurred, has been manipulated, in some instances destroyed, and, really, to them does not matter. They call racist in public while participating in racist behavior when the cameras are off. They decry "mean, hurtful language, while shouting expletives at those that are sworn to step between them and a bullet...

We are in a very tight spot- and this election means more to everyone than many Americans can possibly comprehend. The SAD thing is that this argument has been going on, not for years... but DECADES.

"You and I are told increasingly we have to choose between a left or right. Well I'd like to suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There's only an up or down: [up] man's old -- old-aged dream, the ultimate in individual freedom consistent with law and order, or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. As if that was not bad enough, there is an equally important rights issue that is near and dear to those of us in the "Outdoor Space..." The issue of the 2nd Amendment- the right to "Keep and Bear Arms."

Much has been said about "hype" and "nonsense" surrounding this issue because, after all, "Barack Obama didn't take away your guns."

That may be true, but it was not for lack of desire. As a matter of fact, the president on numerous occasions has stated his desire for gun control, "Assault Weapons" bans, "Gun show loopholes " (that don't exist- See HERE). Hillary Clinton will open the floodgates of regulation, legislation, confiscation, and prosecution of people for owning a firearm that cosmetically resembles an ACTUAL Assault Weapon. We forget that the next president will be able to shape the laws and direction of the United States for the next FORTY to FIFTY YEARS through their appointees to the Supreme Court.

Throughout the Democratic primaries, Clinton attacked Bernie Sanders for voting for theProtection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, a 2005 law that granted gun manufacturers immunity from civil lawsuits when their guns are used in a crime. Sanders has defended his vote as a way to protect small gun stores from lawsuits. Legal experts told The Trace in October that because such lawsuits were often dismissed in courts anyway, the bill was largely created as a way to keep information about gun companies from becoming public.

• Remember- it is already illegal for a non-citizen to purchase a firearm on a "short-term visa" or if they have overstayed their visa. Inconveniently, you cannot arbitrarily revoke someone's constitutional rights without DUE PROCESS, which is what the argument is all about. -Ace

If there is any doubt as to whom is more supportive of your Second Amendment rights, you need look no farther than the endorsement of the oldest civil rights organization in the United States- the NRA- who endorsed Donald Trump and, not only endorsed him but rather endorsed him earlier than they have endorsed any candidate, ever.

These issues don't just belong on the national stage, though- and I am often surprised at the arrogance of some politicians at the gullibility of the general populace.

I was fortunate this year to attend a "debate" between John R. Lott and Juan Mendez, a local Arizona Democrat regarding "gun free zones" and their efficacy at reducing crime. To call it a "debate" was rather laughable, as Representative Mendez admitted, after a thoroughly prepared and execution of the facts compiled from hundreds of sources by Mr. Lott, that he "hadn't really prepared" and "did a few google searches" on the way over...

Now, the arrogance of this is quite appaling from a representative that 1. Agreed to participate, 2. was offered "comment" and CHOSE a "debate" style, and 3. that, CLEARLY is anti carry, concealed or otherwise. He even went so far as to say that "Republicans" showed up to his events and "threatened" and "intimidated" peoplle with firearms even though they weren't allowed to have them there... The attitude that "We the People" are somehow "below" politician in a "ruling class" permeates the Democratic Party top-to-bottom.

TOMORROW the United States will make History. You will play an active part in that history. The question is, will you be on the side of FREEDOM of SUBJUGATION?
